Mr. Sreekumar KM of SCHNABEL DC Consultants India has been invited to speak on the topic of “Latest Critical Cooling Technologies” : Energy Efficiency in Datacenters on 02 September 2010 at the Energy Efficiency Summit 2010 at Chennai, India, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (Indian Green Building Council).

SCHNABEL DC Consultants India to participate in Focus Group Meeting on Indian Data Center Energy Efficiency
Indian data center capacity and energy use is growing significantly. This is resulting in an increase of financial resources needed for data center operation and higher emission of green house gases (GHGs). Both energy consumption and GHGs is a growing concern for data centers in India.
The sharing of best practices among the data center designers, operators, and owners becomes the key in energy efficiency implementation. USAID ECO-III Project and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) in partnership with US Department of Energy (USDOE) and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) have been working with Indian companies and industry organizations to create awareness and foster energy efficiency implementation in data center facilities. Initiatives undertaken in this partnership include: Benchmarking of energy consumption in Indian Data Centers, Data Center Energy Efficiency workshops, US –India Energy Efficiency Technology conference, and creation of awareness materials on Energy Efficiency in Data Centers.
In order to address old and new barriers and prepare a strategy for energy efficiency implementation in Indian Data Centers, USAID ECO-III Project and LBNL (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory) are organizing a focus group meeting on 13th September, 2010 at Bangalore.
SCHNABEL DC Consultants India would be participating in this important meeting to help formulate a strategy for Indian data centers in energy efficiency implementation.

CeBIT 2010: SCHNABEL AG represents engineer services for data centers
SCHNABEL AG will be present at this year´s CeBIT. At the exhibition booth of BITKOM (Bundesverband Informationswirtschaft, Telekommunikation und neue Medien e. SCHNABEL dc consultants india opens branch in Mumbai
The opening of SCHNABEL DCCIs new branch will be on Monday, 1st March 2010. The office is located in the centre of South Mumbai at the famous Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). The BKC is a commercial complex in suburbs of the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Mumbai, the most populous city in India, has approximately 14 millions inhabitants. The metropolis on the west coast of India was also named an Alpha world city in 2009.
